IAWV Rules and Regulations
General Rules
- Please do not use "handicaped parking" slots unless you are truly handicaped.
- Place your shoes/slippers properly in the racks provided to you.
- Beeper/phone should be on vibrating mode
- Fund raising in the center is not allowed without the approval of the E.C.
- Please do not hang picture frames on the wall. Use of any tape on the walls, windows, or doors is prohibited
- All advertising material, flyers, and announcements require prior stamped approval of the executive committee.
- Any items (printer, books, furniture, computers) donated to the masjid have to be approved by the executive committee. They should not be left in the mosque without approval.
- Only persons authorized by the E.C. are allowed to use the microphone in the masjid. Political speeches are not allowed.
- Please do not change the settings of the thermostat/fans. These settings have been programmed to save electricity bill of the mosque.
Safety of Children
- Monitoring of children on the center's premises, including the play area, is the sole responsibility of the parents. IAWV is not liable for any injuries that occur on the center premises. Please do not leave your children unattended in the parking lot.
Food Guidelines
- Please do not bring any food in the prayer hall.
- Only zabiha meat should be served.
- Products containing peanuts are not allowed.
- Kitchen/dining hall can be rented by voting members after signing a rental agreement and paying a fee.
- Primary cooking in the masjid kitchen is not allowed. There are warmers in the kitchen to warm the food.
