Rules for use of the GYM
Adopted March 18, 2017
- No foods or drinks are allowed
- No street shoes or sneakers with black rubber outer soles are allowed. Playing with bare-foot is not allowed
- All players/participant must adhere to modest dress code representing IAWV values. (Overtly body exposure or vulgarity is not allowed
- All players must stop playing during Salat (Prayer) times as posted.
- The use of Gymnasium is prohibited starting 10 minutes before, during and 10 minutes after the scheduled posted Salat (Prayer) timings. On Friday, the Gymnasium shall remain closed from 1:15 pm to 2:15 pm for Jumah Khutba and Salat (prayer).
- Dunking and hanging from Basketball baskets or high soccer's kicks are not allowed.
- Males are not allowed to enter the Gymnasium during the scheduled female privacy sessions. Please respect our Mothers and Sisters privacy.
- Parents and families may watch their children play during Teams competition or Tournaments from the Balcony/mezzanine or sides on the floor.
- IAWV may not be held liable or responsible for personal items lost, stolen or broken.
- IAWV may not be held liable, accountable or responsible for any injuries to person or property sustained while playing or using the Gymnasium or IAWV premises at any time.
- Any violation of the Gymnasium rules as posted shall be promptly reported to the EC-IAWV for suitable and appropriate remedies.
- Under no circumstances player/parents/guardians shall attempt to correct, discipline or altercate directly with fellow players who may be in violation of the posted rules.
- Please report all concerns, complaints or suggestions to the EC-IAWV, preferably in writing, for considerations and appropriate actions.
